FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Anything else? Write to office@serious.ro.

Which language pairs with Polish do you cover?

Mainly Polish and Romanian, in both directions, English and Polish, and German into Polish. Other combinations on request.

Who translates and checks my documents?

A translator who is a native speaker of the target language and works in your field. A second linguist, never the translator, then revises the text against the original, and automated QA checks catch number, terminology and consistency errors.

Can you provide certified or notarised Polish translations?

Yes. Translations can be certified by a translator authorised in Romania or in another EU country, legalised by a notary and, when needed, given an apostille so they are recognised abroad.

How is the price calculated?

We analyse your files first and send a binding offer. Repeated and similar text is counted with CAT tools, so you pay less for it, and the price stays the same for the whole contract.

How do you protect confidential documents?

Every linguist signs a confidentiality agreement, access is granted per project and our processes are certified to ISO/IEC 27001. On request, we delete your files right after delivery.

Will you meet my deadline?

The delivery date is written in the offer. In our last 1,000 projects for corporate customers we did not miss a single agreed deadline.
